Painted the inside of the boat
I've just painted the inside of the boat black, so that it won't stand out so much and contrast against the dark stain of the hull. Also last night i installed the rudder and strut, but no photos of that.

I've been busy power sanding the edge of the deck flush with the side using a mouse sander, just to tidy up what the planer couldn't really get perfect. Last photo you can see i've puttied it up, ready for some hand sanding. Then it should be good for stain and clearcoat.
Been cutting some holes in the bulkheads in the boat for two purposes:
Here's some photos of mounting the strut, the propshaft, and puttying and sanding the hull. I think i'm going to stain it a dark colour and paint it with clearcoat, so it'll look like dark timber.
The final parts for the driveline have arrived. Saweet. Now its just the hard work of mounting it all...
Did i mention i'm working on a comet server?
Been busy as a bee whacking a skin on the bottom of the boat.
3mm ply bent carefully to shape, with a vee cut in the ply so it'll bend around the contours at the front. All held in place with liquid nails, and finally trimmed to shape with a power planer. Loverly.
