Been busy as a bee whacking a skin on the bottom of the boat.
3mm ply bent carefully to shape, with a vee cut in the ply so it'll bend around the contours at the front. All held in place with liquid nails, and finally trimmed to shape with a power planer. Loverly.
I can't believe node.js has such good libraries for UDP! I mean really, who uses UDP in this day and age except C programmers?

Very simple way to start a thread and pass it an argument in python:
